Project T60 (T – stripe; 60 – number of stripes) found its inspiration in thinking about materials that surround us and how the world is consequently shaped by them. Recycling trash we want to show that things aren’t necessarily without value when they’ve served its primary purpose, in other words one’s trash can be someone else’s raw material. Stripes allow us to play with the contrast between light and dark, an element additionally emphasized by object’s movement that in turn causes the image to change and the shadows to travel. The torsion movement of the object is a reflection of the times we live in – nothing is stable, changes happen every day, but at the same time it represents the moment of breathing, giving us an illusion the object is alive.
